Ghost Woman in Clearlake Oaks

My friends and I were hanging out making some music for one of the local bands we were in. Suddenly we heard a powerful sound. I suddenly looked around asking everyone was it a gunshot and they assured me it was not that I felt weird. I decided to walk outside to my car almost in a dayze. I opened the trunk of my car and stared inside not knowing what it was I was there for. Confused and bewildered I turned around and scrdays.

There in front of me was a woman in a long skirt. the middle of her was missing. She looked a lot like a zombie and her body was gray and brown. However she was as real looking as you and me. As I yelled she suddenly disappeared. I apologized profusely to her saying only I was surprised.

Shocked I started to run to the house. I went and told my boyfriend. Moments later my friend came running in saying to her husband that she had seen a strange woman walking across the backyard who suddenly disappeared. As she told this to her husband the two men took us aside and let us know that we had seen the same thing.

Later we found out that it was indeed a gunshot and a woman we mutually knew in passing had been shot. It was sad and everyone warned her loss cuz apparently she was important to the town. We had maybe only met her once or twice and honestly I can barely remember her. However I was the one who held her funerary service and had a private local ceremony for those that were around.
